So here is a random selection of photos taken in the last few weeks...  What can we say...  Life is VERY GOOD.

Just after our last post we invited our friends, Bob & Anne from s/v Baloo for American Thanksgiving dinner.  Given where we are, I think Shelley did an amazing job... Chicken, veggies ad yes, Pumpkin Pie!

Our home at "Green Island"
The other day we inflated our kayaks and went for a spin around the island...

Almost every day we are visited by someone who has something to sell.... We had lobster every night for something like 4 days, so for a change we got some nice crab...

Then we were back to lobster...

When the veggie boat arrives, it is a BIG deal... they will also bring us gasoline if we need it...

The fish guy showed up too...

Shelley captured quite a contrast, don't you think?
And of course, the Mola ladies are never far behind the fish guys...

Last week we made a 10 nautical mile trek in our dinghy to two small villages.  They just got electricity in the last year or so, yet, by North American standards, still very different...

The "Congresso is the governing body of the Kuna Yalla people.  they meet to discuss matters that affect the community.  There is a rumor that they want to increase the fees to cruisers in January to over $1000 per month, from the $60 per month currently being charged....  if that happens, we, and I'm sure almost everyone else will be leaving...  Lets hope wiser minds prevail...

1 small island, and 2 churches...

The only restaurant on the first island...  Unfortunately, they had run out of food....
We found a nice place at the second island called Nargana...

For all the children, these are phone booths...

New friends, Tim Nok & Brian

ICE CREAM!

The gas station... NO cars on the island.. only boats...

The long ride home...

another garbage day...

Guess who got the big one?

Paying our monthly fee....
