This week has been very busy!  Many of our friends from Canada came on the annual Groundhog Divers Cozumel trip.  Our friends, Bruce & Yvonne have been bringing scuba divers to Cozumel for almost 20 years and for the last 10 days or so, Shelley and I have met all kinds of new friends and re-connected with old friends...

This trip has a special meaning for Shelley and I as it was in 2000, we had our first date here on the island, both being part of the Groundhog trip...

Last Sunday Margaret and Mike treated us to a day of fishing on the Beuna Vida.  With our friends Dana, James, Margaret and Doug, we set off for a day off.  We only caught one small Dorado (Mahi Mahi) but the day was beautiful and the company was great...

Shelley really loved her time with Dana....

This week we also took delivery of some NEW Blowin' Bubbles T-shirts... we think they look pretty cool:

This week we got a visit from our good friends, Mike & Patrica who escaped the cold for a week of sun...  they brought us a big suitcase full of school supplies, Thank You!

Our friend Bruce took some great underwater videos....  Here I am - another hard day at the office!

This is a "groundhog" safety stop.....

More soon....

After a crazy week of Carnival celebrations, we are settled into another Norte, and sit watching the waves crash on the dock.  Fortunately Blowin' Bubbles is safely tucked into the Caleta.

We almost didn't get to put the boat in the Caleta, as there seemed to be some politics that was all set to prevent it, until our friend Ron just opened the gate and we all drove in before the storm started.... Shelley and I just hope they will let us out when it is over.... lol.

Last week the Island saw the most amazing Carnival celebration!  Thousands of people were in attendance to what be the most fun parade we have ever witnessed...

On Monday, Shelley went with the children of some of our Mexican friends and participated in a 5km run/walk to support a local women and children's shelter.  The big difference with this walk and other is the fact that tons of colorful powder is added....

Clearly, it was an awesome day and for a good cause.....

A few days ago, Shelley and I took some time and dove our mooring to check the rope and chain.  we also carefully inspected the bottom of the boat.  The propeller is in great shape, but clearly we need to paint the bottom...  Especially the keel...

In the last week we also saw the invasion of the "Groundhogs"  They are friends from Canada who run a diveshop who have brought almost 50 divers from the cold north... Unfortunately, with this Norte, all they can do today is drink....  hmmm...  that doesn't sound so bad...

Happy Valentines Day!

Eddie in the Kitchen....

Our favourite Dive Master/Waiter.... - Rocky

Lastly, Margaret and Shelley and the group of ladies who danced their way into second place at the annual "Ladies Night" here on the island, took the winning ticket on a "Sunset Cruise"....  They look like they had fun....

More soon.

Cheers!
