Cozumel is as we always remembered it....  warm and wonderful.  It took us a few days to get into the swing of things here on the island, but we are having a wonderful time...

Some nights we stay on the boat and some nights we stay with Mike and Margaret... I have to say, it takes some getting used to; that is, sleeping on land... That said, we have so appreciated our good friends on the island, who have opened their homes and even lent us a car to use...  Wonderful people....

This week we helped Mike and Margaret put up their Christmas tree!  I have to admit, it felt a little weird putting up a Christmas tree with the air conditioner on...

Last week week our good friend, Billy J. came to see us from Philadelphia.  He brought his cousin, Dick who hails from Ireland... A longline fisherman who has never been to this part of the world before...

Some of you may know that Cozumel is a very wealthy by Mexican standards, however, there are still folks who have almost nothing.  Although Shelley and I plan to give a bunch of school supplies away, Margaret and a number of ex-pats have gotten together to help the kids on the island by buying more than 40 gifts for kids...

On Friday Shelley went to the golf course for the very first time in her life...  She became the official photographer for the people who played...

More soon!
Cheers!
