I was lucky to find a couple of free hours today... In that time I managed to finish installing the galley countertops. I was then able to put the hinge on the dry goods cupboard.
My last little job was to install a wireless motion detector alarm on the boat... There may be some places we will visit one day that might need a little discouragement for someone who visits the boat while we are not home.... We will see...
After supper tonight, Shelley and I went to Home Depot and found some beautiful tiles that will become the backsplash for the galley. Then we went to Walmart and found an awesome cutting board that we will use to cover the stovetop when it is not in use. This board will also make more usable countertop space...

After 9 years of planning, and 4 years of preparation, we are finally on the adventure of a lifetime... On July 1st 2014 we left Ontario Canada setting out on an adventure that might just take us around the world....
