Today I picked up the new counter tops from a wonderful carpenter named Jake. A cabinetmaker by trade he made use some new laminate counter tops. As I installed them today I found that one of them needs to be shaved down a bit, but the one the the sink goes into worked just great. After fitting the sink I installed the new tap and the hand pump tap. then I managed to get the whole drain system installed and the sink glued/siliconed into place..
The last thing accomplished today because the temperature was above freezing was a pedestal base for the Pilot House helm seat... it looks great and works really well..
All in all a pretty successful day, although just once I would like to get something COMPLETELY finished... :)
