We are just about ready to go!  Go, that is, to our first Island destination. 

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday and have been really busy provisioning and getting the boat ready to cross over to Cuba in the next few days.

The day after we arrived, Mike G. our good friend from Cozumel arrived so we went out for dinner and got a bunch of boat parts together...  We will be seeing Mike and Margaret soon when we arrive in Cozumel, hopefully around the end of November.

We also met up with our good friends Stan & Joanna who have shown us a great time in their town.  We have blown our budget on dinners out and even attended a HUGE Halloween party at the Hard Rock Casino here in Lauderdale...

We also received the school supplies that were sent from Canada and we hope to distribute that stuff in Cuba next month.  a reminder to anyone coming to meet us that we would appreciate you bringing an extra small carry on sized piece of luggage with more supplies.
