Yesterday Shelley drove us to the lab where I got blood tests, X-rays, and an ultrasound.
I am happy to report I’m not pregnant! All morning I was surrounded by young pregnant women waiting for an ultrasound!
My doctor contacted me already to tell us that my ribs are actually HEALING! And that my pain should start decreasing, and my stamina should start increasing. We see this as more than a baby step.
We are still waiting for the report from the radiologist who will hopefully tell us the spleen is also healing.
It has been 2 months since the accident, (although some days it seems longer) and I do feel a little stronger every day.
Every day now Shelley tries to find something for us to do that requires me to get off the couch and out and about somewhere... Tonight we are going to a friends house to celebrate her birthday which should get me behind the wheel to drive us home... Looking forward to another milestone.
Thank you again for everyone’s love and support. This has been a life changing event and we are beginning to look toward the possibility that we can return to Blowin’ Bubbles and continue our journey soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
XOXO
